  • Vintage loupe carl zeiss jena 8x with round logo,model czj8,come with original box,mint condition,unbelivable condition after 55 year.body 95%,len 100%. no sign of scratch on the lens at all,very perfect loupe.carl zeiss jena 8x is a very good loupe for both amulets n gems.vintage loupe.u can see on the photo clearly that the lens of the loupe,are using 2 lens,a few adhedsive was used during that time,some are canada balsam glue.jena series is considered as one of the best tool/equipment among thai collector for amulet & some use for gems and old watches.the older lens tend to be better,cleaerer,not so much distortion.the main reason why the older loupes are expensive for the reason are,1st,it was considered as antique/vintage.2nd,the lens are make of 2 lenses which are flint glass & crown glass.3rd,the body are make of bakelite not plastic.4th,the lens are not apply with anti reflective coating. while the new loupes have.5th,not common seen in market and are wanted by collector.
